Repairs booked The pool is being relined this spring and opens for the 2026/27 summer. Season keys →
Your say

We've changed how
this site talks.

For most of this campaign the website led with how bad things were, because that was the truth of it. The repair is booked now, so it leads with what the community is getting instead. Tell us whether that reads right to you.

What's different

Nothing about the pool's situation has been hidden. The leak, the repair and the money still needed are all still on here. What's changed is the emphasis.

Before

  • A red "Pool Closed" banner on every page
  • "Save the Cust Pool", which led on what we stood to lose
  • A section on what happens if we don't raise it
  • The shortfall in red as the biggest number on the page

Now

  • The repair is booked and the pool opens for summer 2026/27
  • What the reline gets us: no leaks, warmer, cleaner
  • The money still needed, stated plainly as the last stretch
  • Season keys front and centre, because there's a season to sell

Tell us what you think

Every question is optional, so answer the ones you have a view on and skip the rest. It goes straight to the committee, and blunt is fine.

How does the site read to you now?

The honest answer, not the polite one.

Is it clear what's happening to the pool, and when?
Does it make you more or less likely to take a season key?

Useful for us to know. There is no wrong answer.

Anything that isn't accurate, isn't answered, or doesn't sound like Cust.

Questions about the repair, ideas for fundraising, or an offer of a hand.

Helps us weigh the feedback. Skip it if you'd rather not say.

Leave your details if you'd like a reply. Anonymous feedback is just as welcome.

Be in the water this summer

Season keys are the simplest way to back the pool. You get the whole summer, and the pool gets the last of what it needs.
