Dry the dishes. Fill the pool.

Our tea-towels have been designed and sourced right here in New Zealand, in two designs featuring historic local areas and road names.

They are 100% Organic Cotton and have been dyed using water-based inks which means this is a tea towel that is both absorbent and made to last.

The Cust Pool teatowels make excellent Christmas presents, keepsakes to frame or... if you like, you can just use it as a tea towel, we've tested them and can confirm they will actually dry the dishes!

Why a tea towel?

Because it's the kind of fundraiser this pool has always run on. The Cust pool was built in 1955 by people who mixed the concrete themselves and paid for it with raffles, working bees and a decade of stubbornness. Seventy years on, that shell is getting a full fibreglass reline, funded the same way. Buy a tea towel, dry your dishes, and put a bit towards it.

Good to know

When will I get them?

These are pre-orders. The towels arrive in early November. Posted orders go out as soon as they land. If you're collecting, we'll email you a time for your chosen pickup point: Cust, Rangiora, Swannanoa / Mandeville.

Why is there a card processing charge?

Card payments cost the fundraiser a percentage of every transaction. We pass that exact cost on rather than taking it out of the repair fund, so the full value of your order reaches the pool. Choosing pickup lowers it, since there's no delivery to pay for.

How does the 3-for-$50 deal work?

Any 3 tea towels come to $50 instead of $60, and you can mix the designs however you like. Three of one, or two and one, it's the same price. It applies itself as soon as your order reaches 3, and again at 6. Postage is $7.10 for one towel and $10.40 for two or more, or free if you collect locally.

Where does the money go?

Straight into the pool fund, alongside the grants and donations already raised towards the $108,000 reline, pipework and filtration upgrade.

Be in the water this summer

Season keys are the simplest way to back the pool. You get the whole summer, and the pool gets the last of what it needs.
